For Youth....

Our middle and high school students have challenging questions about life and faith.   In the richness of worship, education, and fellowship that St. Luke's offers, we try to provide a space for them to find the answers.

Teens regularly participate in the worship service as acolytes, and on occasion as lectors and intercessors.   Their Sunday classes combine study of the basic tenets of our faith with discussion of contemporary issues they face in their daily lives.   We respect the intelligence of our young people.

The growth of our youth group, EYC, is one of the exciting things happening at St. Luke's.   Duke Divinity students help lead the group in study, service projects, and just plain fun (ski and beach trips, for example).

We encourage all our middle and high school students to participate in these activities.   St. Luke's can play an important part in shaping our youth's character, and help them face the future with faith and confidence.
