English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Classes began this past week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings here in Johnson Hall for anyone wishing to learn English.  We have more than 20 students from many different countries.  Many come with their children. Students are increasing and Jan Lamb could use more teachers and others willing to help with childcare and homework for youngsters.  Many St. Lukers are helping this new ministry, and the ones spotted on Tuesday night, 2/10/09, were Babs Wise, Bill Callahan, May Bailey, Phoebe Brinskelle, Patricia LeMoine, and Reed Humphrey.
