Rev. Joe Hensley Elected as Secretary to DCIA on 1/28/09

We are proud to announce that last night Reverend Joe Hensley of St. Luke's Church was elected Secretary of DCIA, one of our Outreach charities we have been supporting for many years.  At this meeting the keynote address was given by Timothy Tyson, author of "Blood Doth Sign My Name" who spoke on "Marking the Past and making the Future: Dr. King's Gospel in the Jazz of Obama". DCIA's mission is:

To bring together congregations to promote understanding across boundaries of faith, race and ethnicity and build an inclusive community of justice and peace.
