For Children....

We love the energy, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn that children bring to St. Luke's.   They are an important part of our parish.

Children are welcome at all services. If you prefer, we offer childcare for infants through age 3 during the worship service. (Ask a greeter or usher for the location of the nursery.)

We offer children opportunities to grow as part of the Christian community by participating in the core activities of the Church: worship, education, and fellowship. During the first part of the 10:00 a.m. service, children ages 4 - 7 can participate in a program geared towards them, Children's Chapel, and then join the rest of us after the sermon for Holy Communion. Instead of a traditional Sunday School class, elementary school age children can engage their minds and bodies in Godly Play. For one week during the summer, children participate (along with the rest of the congregation) in Vacation Bible School, an experience combining education, music, arts and crafts, and play.

By participating in these activities, your children will grow in faith, meet new friends, and become a real part of the St. Luke's family. Please join us.
