Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Sunday, June 12th was the beginning of the annual, five-day Vacation Bible School for all ages. Barbara Longmire, VBS director, introduced the theme, "Healing a Hurting World". After a delicious dinner, the group broke up into three classes - young children, teens, and adults. Nightly topics included combating malaria with "Nets for Life," supporting the families of victims of violence, and providing health care to those who have no health insurance.
Starting every night with simple, good food. Jan Lamb told all that inexpensive mosquito nets could save thousands.
