Ordination For Lauren Frances Winner

On Saturday, December 17, St. Luke's was blessed to host the ordination of The Rev. Dr. Lauren Frances Winner to the Sacred Order of Priests.  Clergy and lay persons from the Episcopal Dioceses of North Carolina and Virginia (Lauren's sponsoring diocese) and around the country partcipated in the wonderful service that included preaching by Dr. Peter Hawkins and music by members of St. Luke's and St. Matthew's, Hillsborough. The Celebrant was The Rt. Rev. Shannon Johnston, Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia.
